You can't have a Planet Week without mentioning other parts of the planet. And one as fascinating as India to boot. With a billion people all consuming agricultural products it stands to reason there are surplus agricultural products about. Like rice and cotton. So instead of wasting it, why not make electricity out of it and sell it to the state?
