Antofagasta might sound like a bottle of foul liquor you once brought back from a Mediterranean holiday, but it most certainly is not. It is a huge copper miner named after a town in Chile where it all began back in the days when mining was just a hole in the ground.
And copper, at more than $6000 a tonne means it is a real commodity, so, investors, as they say, 'There's copper in them thar hills!'
