iBall interviews John O'Reilly

February 29th, 2008

Ahh the sound of thundering hooves, the smell of moist turf in the air and the throaty roar of the crowd in the sport of kings.

We are a nation of punters but at the end of the day - there’s ten windows for betting and only one for paying out.

There are two ways of making money out of gambling. Be the world’s biggest bookmaker and buy the shares in a bookmaker. Or in John O'Reilly's case - both.

Arena Leisure Plc (ARE)

Sport of Kings it may be, but when a day at the races comes around it’s chavs who keep the tills ringing.

And Arena Leisure seems well placed to capitalise on the great British insititution of horse racing.

So, investors, you’re under starters orders…. and yer off!
