Vultures might be ugly and smelly but where the City is concerned they can be rather attractive.
Especially if they happen to be ominously circling the property industry as it begins to stagger behind the herd.
And London & Stamford know what they are talking about. If they smell blood, so should we.

Small and Medium-sized Enterprises, or SMEs to give them their rather dermatological-sounding name, are a central plank of the economy.
But it is very tough for them out there in the big wide world what with banks compressing credit, taxes and so on.
So, it is nice when there is one company which exists to help the little people and one which seems to be doing quite well to boot. Bless them.

Commercial property is currently about as popular with investors as a tramp on a crowded tube train.
In something of a Bonfire of the Vanities it has gone from hero to split capital zero… oh sorry that was another investment collapse.
But with discounts in share prices deeper than most mine shafts, there’s one company that owns a lot of recession-proof property…
