Haynes Publishing Group Plc (HYNS)

Most men, as Dorothy Parker might have said, couldn’t find their own backsides without a map, or in this case, a manual.

Most investors, on the other hand, are passionate about information and about as much detail as they can lay their hands on.

The manual for a 1987 Ford Escort Mark III is what might be considered a decent cure for insomnia, but the shares are certainly interesting…

Kingfisher Plc (KGF)

April 14th, 2008

There has been a theory around that when the housing market turns south DIY stores do quite well as people tend to stay put.
There is a counter-theory that says this is nonsense and that it is particularly not true when the store in question is a dull as B&Q.
Well, we say there’s a third theory, and that is what has gone as far down as it can because its so bad can only improve. Anyway it’s a good excuse for a lot of puerile gags.

I would just like to say that I thought the Kingfisher video was distasteful, if not verging on appalling. It told me nothing I would need to know as an invester in this stock. I would expect iii to portray a much more professional image than the current iball video backlog entails. As a regular investor in iii, I was pleased to see the roll out of iball, however very few of the videos really provide proper insight and leave the viewer wondering how much the people making these videos really know about general investments/economic matters. The content and complexity of iball needs an urgent rework and does not reflect well on iii as a serious business.

This video tells you nothing and is inaccurate.
Who says B&Q stores are dull? and why so many sexual innuendo’s stick to interviews with company executives and less of the video entertainment business!!!!
