Ten Alps Plc (TAL)
July 3rd, 2008As media companies go Ten Alps is quite hard to quantify. It does telly, internet, publishing, contract publishing, you name it.
This diversity is what we think makes it a decent bet, then again we would think internet TV is the future. Ahem.
Mind you, the most fun of this company is that it is in Sir Bob Geldolf's portfolio. Absolutely. F***ing right!

Heavens! A crunch has become chaos and carnage and the market only seems to go one way –meltdown. Perhaps, it is not the best time in the world to be cheerfully giving investment ideas, given it’s so difficult to pick anything out of all of this mess. Just look at our portfolio.
